Jack Russell Terrier Breeder in West Yorkshire

Ruth has many years experience of breeding and showing terriers starting with Jack Russells at working and hunt terrier shows in the late 1970's. Her father Joe Copping bought their first Jack as a family pet in 1971, a litter was born a couple of years later and they started showing.
Ruth's father was very well known in the South of England for his terriers and bred and showed the short and longer legged terriers under the Romaco affix.
When the Kennel Club announced it was accepting the Parson Russell Terrier Ruth and her father had dogs accepted on to the foundation register. When Ruth decided to move to West Yorkshire in 1998 she started breeding in her own right and the RUTAARO affix was established. Rutaaro is a combination of Ruth and her son Aaron's name.
Ruth showed, bred and judged Parsons successfully for many years but once the last Parson went she had 2 Chihuahua's as pets. Then in 2016 when The Royal Kennel Club announced that they were accepting the Jack Russell as a registered breed she decided that the time was right for another Jack and now shares her home with 3 of them.
Ruth has now started showing KC registered Jack Russells with great success and look forward to carrying on.
